BAD IDEA. That has no advantages over the current board and phpBB2 has known security issues.

Me and Steve decided to TRY this.
I just want to see if everyone is comfortable with proboards here, I know from prior experience about problems with PHP, Proboards and Bravehost but thought if there was interest in moving the forums that it should be addressed.
Thanks!

Ah, neat idea. ;D But really, I would prefer to stay at ProBoards. While PB doesn't have the most features, they do seem to be more stable. Plus, I've kinda settled in here, so yeah.

the thing that got me about PHP was the huge amount of features for the admin. (im selfish, lol)
the sky is the limit with the amount of power you have over there.
but anyway, thanks for the opinions. I'm still open to hearing some more.

I like proboards better because I have all this stuff memorized on Proboards.

invision was another choice i was looking at. thats what john tenney uses over at the PEO PROS/MACH 1/McGlynn board.
i just didnt go as far as making a demo for that one, but i still could.
im still open to more opinions.

I'll second invisionfree. I've experimented with it in the past, and have seen some good forums use it... Just a suggestion.

If you use Invisionfree - be aware that only the PAID version is updated against hackers.
It's pricey too - $190 the first time, and about $15/year after that, but it's worth it.

InvisionFree is what I run my sports board on, it's a cool thing but I have no interest in moving the boards at this current time.
