I upgraded the NRN website to premium, ad-free hosting. I also bought ad-free credits for the message board, but Mike has to activate it. I've pumped about $35 into this website over the past couple of days. Now all we need is content to make it money well spent. I will write an article for the website. However, I can't do it all alone. I need other people to help. I want to have a weekly article on every Tuesday. If you are intrested in doing this reply to this thread, PM me and we'll talk. For the next few weeks I'm going to have people "try out" for the weekly article. It needs to be about the past week in racing. I will write it this week. Let's help make NRN even better than it already is!

What kind of articles are you looking for Paul? I was thinking about writing one for The Pit Lane and it might benefit your website as well.

Paul, it's nice to see you're investing into the board. Let me advise you that making a budget for marketing can be more effective than improving the "product" which is NRN.
For about $5 per month, you can get a domain name, a blog and an e-mail account. There's no worry about web design and you and others can post articles just like how members can post a thread on this forum.
But before you go through all of this trouble, be sure of NRN's niche. A niche is what makes something unique and beneficial to the customer - or in this case, the reader. If you're focusing in underdog drivers, be sure to check out other sites/blogs like this. The NASCAR scene is overflowing with web sites that report traditional news that everyone else has already heard. Don't lose money by not playing your cards right. Good Luck.

Dj11, I will talk to Steve about your idea. If Steve wants to do it, I will work on getting something like that up and running. I will not rush it, however. I've found that when I rush things, it dosen't work well. With that said, I personally like this.
