Regarding the question of lending our crew to a Nextel team if they needed help, depending on the situation, it could be a possibility. As for Stanton driving in 2006, we hope our relationship with Stanton is long-term. He has helped our team progress and we hope it continues. We have very limited sponsorship left for this season. We have a few things we're working on for next season, but nothing secure yet. And as mentioned above, we're lucky to have a crew chief that does do the best he can on a limited budget. We just need to get a break and have a stong finish, so we can attract sponsorship. A prime example of the connection between being even in the top 20 and having a decent budget happened to us in St. Louis last weekend. A flat tire caused Stanton to hit the wall around lap 60. We didn't have the right parts on our crash cart to fix the car to get it back on the track. Having a limited budget results in having limited supplies. But, we will get our break, as our crew, driver, and John & I are extremely determined to do so. Nancy McGill www.dctmotorsports.com

Nancy, I want to thank you for responding to this forum. Your positive attitude and dedication to Stanton and the team are admirable in this dog eat dog sport. With this recent bout of short luck and the need to secure sponsorship for '06, what personally do you do to keep that positive outlook? Also, I would like to know how you feel about Toyota competing in the Cup series?

Your welcome. Just sorry I don't remember to get on more often. I think the positive attitude stems from now making this a quest. We look so forward to the next race since we've had some good runs and are always hoping that "this will be our week". It's almost like a gambling addiction where you can't stop. You think, okay next week, next week...... I have a positive attitude because I really do believe in our crew and Stanton, and we actually have fun when we go to the races. We also had an engine tuner that we were not entirely comfortable with and there were a few races that we questioned the engine. But we have had a new tuner for the last few races and our crew is impressed with him. It takes time for a new team to pull everything together, so we just keep plugging away with whatever shortcomings we have and try to improve upon them. And if you loose the positive attitude, you'll fail. I wish Toyota would do a deal with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nancy McGill www.dctmotorsports.com

Not a question, but what a tough weekend for DCT at Watkins Glen. I think you a transmission and something else mechanical go wrong. Tough luck. Good luck at Michigan!

You must have known this question would be coming, but what led to the decision of putting TJ Bell in the car replacing Stanton? Was it Stanton's decision to leave, or did you as an owner feal results would improve with TJ Bell in the car?
*EDIT*I just fixed some spelling errors that made me look like a dumb-crap.

Nancy, would you say that it depends on how much a team is willing to spend in their team rather than how much they have? If the sponsor that you landed with TJ Bell wants TJ in the seat next year will you keep him?

Nancy, do you know where Stanton got his Cup car for Bristol from? Do you know where he got his engine from?

Hey Nancy,
I was wondering, how many races do you think your driver and race team plans on running next year?
Thanks, Shawn Edmunds
